Try Try Again is the new album by The Michael Parks, a band consisting of Shayne Cox (of Sports:The Band), Sandro Perri, Greg Smith (of The Weakerthans) and Andy Swan. Most of the songs are mostly live. Some, like Vanessa, are rough mixes of recordings that were then lost in a computer malfunction. Some, like Chinese Laundry, worked out way better when we re-recorded them.
The album was recorded in 2006-2007ish at Andy Magoffin's House Of Miracles and is kind of a soul record, I think.
